Learn about OZ e-Form Designer menus and windows and then how to set Designer environments.

Designer Layout

Menu
Description

Vertical menu

The circle OZ logo on the top-left of the Designer shows general menus in vertical navigation.

Quick Access Toolbar

The small icon bar next to the circle logo manages frequently used command icons.

Tab menu

  • Home: Edit menus

  • Insert Band

  • Insert Component

  • Insert Input Component

  • Layout: Component layout, align, move, spacing, group

  • Page Layout: Size, orientation, margin

  • Repository: Server repository and working folder

  • View: Zoom in/out, grid line, measurement unit

  • Help: Manual, shortcut key

Working Folder

Working folder

  • The base folder which containing subcategories (subfolders) and e-Form files.

  • C:\Users\username\Documents\OZRepository\ is the default Working Folder.

Adding working folders

  1. Open the Working folder manager (Repository > Working Folder)

  2. Select the Add working folder tab on top of the Working folder manager.

  3. Give it a name, select the path, and then save.

  4. You can add multiple working folders and switch between them.

Setting temporary working folder

  • Repository > Local Explorer > select your folder > Set Working Folder.

Designer Environments

Vertical menu > Options

  • Settings and preferences for e-Form Designer.

👉 Change the default settings of component text as you prefer.
